This 140 year old Rhode Island parish has a rich heritage and a bright future in their new rector, Casey Shobe. It was obvious from the beginning that Casey’s thoughtful, pastoral approach to his daily work would translate well into developing a vision for the St. Peter's website. We were brought on board to carry out a website overhaul centered around 3 basic navigation items that mimic the natural progression one might take in joining a church family; learn "Who We Are, find out about "What We Do", and "Get Involved."

A Simple, Classic Design

We found that there is a lot of inspiration available when designing for a church that has been around since 1852. Initially they raised $4000 to build a wooden church, only to have it destroyed by a great Nor’Easter, leaving only the cross and a single stained glass window. The same day they vowed to rebuild and did, this time in stone. The site’s crisp, typographic design is true to the small town of Narragansett, RI, just like the parish itself.
